一、 申请资格 Qualification of Applicants
1. 申请者年龄须为18-60周岁，非中国籍公民。
Applicants must be 18-60 years old, non-Chinese citizens.
2. 申请者应品行良好、身心健康，遵守中国的法律法规及天津外国语大学规章制度。
Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy, and abide by Chinese laws and the rules and regulations of Tianjin Foreign Studies University
二、 申请时间 Application Deadlines
2024年春季项目报名日期截止为2023年12月31日，入学报到时间为2024年2月26-28日，3月4日开始上课；2024年秋季项目报名日期截止为2024年6月30日，入学时间为2024年9月初。
（具体入学时间请以录取通知书为准）。
Application deadline for 2024 spring semester: December 31,2023.
2024 spring semester registration Date: February 26-28,2024. Classes start on March 4, 2024.
Application Deadline for 2024 Autumn Semester: June 30, 2024.
2024 autumn semester starts in early September, 2024.
(The exact dates are subject to the dates on the admission notice).
三、 课程、学制介绍 Course Information and Duration
1. 语言生专业名称为汉语言；学制为一学期或一学年，每学期时长为16-18周。
For Chinese language courses, applicants can choose to study for one semester or one year. Each semester is about 16-18 weeks long.
2. 汉语言课程主要分为初级、中级、高级3个等级，每个等级又细分为2-3个小等级班。新生入学后需参加分班测试（笔试+口试）来决定所分班级。每位汉语学习者都能在天津外国语大学找到适合自己汉语水平的班级进行学习。
Chinese language courses are divided into three levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced. Each level is subdivided into 2-3 sub-level classes. Students need to take placement test (written test and oral test) to decide which level of class they will be in. Each student is sure to find a class suitable for him or her at Tianjin Foreign Studies University.

四、 申请方式 How to Apply
1. 登录天津外国语大学国际学生服务平台完成信息填写。 Apply at TFSU International Student Service System: http://tfsu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx
2. 具体流程： 信息填写及材料提交—审查材料—支付学费—录取签证材料寄送—签证申请—持签证入境—报到注册

五、 申请材料 Application Documents
1. 有效护照首页（申请春季学期入学者护照有效期应晚于2024年04月01日，申请秋季学期入学者，护照有效期应晚于2024年11月01日）
A scanned copy of the Passport Information Page. For Spring semester, applicants shall submit a clear scanned copy of the passport that will not expire on or before April 1, 2024, and November 1, 2024 for Autumn Semester.
2. 外国人体格检查表（体格检查表下载）Foreigner Physical Examination Form ( See the attachment)
3. 无犯罪记录证明 Certificate of Non-Criminal Record
4. 银行出具的申请者本人或其经济担保人2万人民币以上的存款证明
A deposit certificate of more than 20000 RMB issued by the bank from the applicant or the economic guarantor.
注：以上所有申请材料应为中文或英文文本，非中英文证书（证明）需附经公证的中文或英文译文。
Please note that all the above application materials in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
六、 录取 Admission
最终录取结果可登录网上报名系统和申请人邮箱进行查询。学校将向被录取的申请人发放《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》。
Please check the final admission result at the online application system or the email registered. The school will issue Admission Notice and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202) to those admitted.
七、 签证申请及入学报到 Visa Application and Registration
被录取人应持护照、《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）、《外国人体格检查表》及所有体格检查报告原件等前往中国驻外使（领）馆办理来华学习签证，并持上述材料，按通知书上规定的时间到天津外国语大学办理入学报到手续。新生入学时须携带所要求的申请资料原件供学校复核入学资格。不符合入学条件者，取消入学资格。
Admitted students should bring passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application for Study in China (JW202), and original Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners, as well as other original documents of physical examination to the Embassy or Consulate of the People's Republic of China, and apply for a student visa. Students must enter China with an ordinary passport and visa. Students are required to arrive at TFSU, along with the required documents, and complete their university registration during the dates on the Admission Notice. All students should present the required original application materials upon registration at Tianjin Foreign Studies University for enrollment qualification review. Students who fail the review will be disqualified from enrollment.
八、 费用标准（以人民币元计算） Expense (in RMB)
1. 报名费：500元（报到注册时缴纳）；
Registration fee: 500 RMB (Pay at registration)
2.学费：6700元/学期；13400元/年；
Tuition fee: 6700 RMB per semester; 13400 RMB per year;
3.意外伤害及住院医疗保险费：400元/学期，800元/年；
Medical Insurance: 400 RMB per semester; 800 RMB per year;
4.住宿费：双人间50元/天。留学生入住不需要提前预订。学生在学期间如无特殊情况必须校内住宿。
Accommodation cost: 50 RMB per day, double room. There is no need to reserve rooms in advance. If there are no special circumstances, students must live on campus during the semester.
