l Program Introduction
In order to deepen the academic friendship and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign young generation, and to build a platform for the international exchanges and cooperation of young talents, China Scholarship Council (CSC) has established the China Link Scholarship Program for international students and faculties hoping to engage in academic and research activities in China.
l Program Scheme
1. Funding Categories
General scholar: applicable to current undergraduates or master students.
Senior scholar: applicable to current Ph. D students or faculties
2. Duration 1-12 months
3. Working Language：English or Chinese, depending on different mayors.
4. Study/Research Fields: All disciplines other than Chinese language study. More details see See Appendix 1.
l Funding
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including a tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).
l Eligibility
1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health, both mentally and physically.
2. Be under 45 years of age when applying for general scholars. Be under 50 years of age when applying for senior scholars.
3. Be registered as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China. For a list of CSC’s foreign partner universities, please refer to Appendix 2.
l Application Process
1. Applicants should log into the International Student System of Tianjin Foreign Studies University Platform (https://tfsu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx) before 30 December 2024, fill and submit the application information online.
2. Admission office for International Students examines the materials.
3. After the materials is approved, Applicants should log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) to complete CSC online application and upload supporting documents. For the online application guide, please refer to Appendix 3. The code for Tianjin Foreign Studies University is 10068. Please Select Class B for the program.
4. The Admission office for International Students will submit the list of candidates to the CSC which will report the scholarship results to the university in batches.
5. Applicants will be notified of the admission results and will receive admission letter and form for visa application based on the admission results. Applicants could apply for entry visas to China with required documnents.

天津外国语大学中国政府奖学金短期科研项目招生简章
中国政府奖学金短期科研项目（英文简称China Link）是由中国国家留学基金委设立，旨在深化中外青年学术友谊，搭建世界青年科研人才交流平台、促进国际学生和教职人员进行短期科研交流。天津外国语大学是天津市唯一 一所主要外语语种齐全，文学、经济学、管理学、法学、教育学、艺术学、工学等多学科协调发展、特色鲜明的高等学校，是全国最早独立设置的八所高等外语院校之一。
一、资助计划
1、资助类别：
普通进修生：适用于在校本科生、硕士研究生申请
高级进修生：适用于在校博士研究生、教职人员申请
2、资助期限：1-12个月
3、授课语言：中文或英文（根据申请专业不同而异）
4、资助领域：具体申请专业详见附件1。
二、资助内容
全额奖学金，包括免学费、免校内住宿费、综合医疗保险；按照中国政府奖学金标准提供生活费，其中，普通进学生3000元/月,高级进修生3500元/月。
三、申请人条件
1、非中华人民共和国国籍，身心健康。
2、普通进修生年龄不超过45周岁；高级进修生年龄不超过50周岁。
3、申请及参与项目期间，申请人须为国家留学基金委国外合作院校全日制在读学生或教职员工，国外合作院校列表详见附件2。
四、申请时间和流程
1、申请人于2024年12月30日前登录天津外国语大学国际学生服务平台（网址https://tfsu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx），注册个人账号，在线填写申请信息并提交申请材料。
2、留学生招生办公室审核材料。
3、材料审核通过后，申请者登录国家留学基金委来华留学网上报名系统（http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn#/login）在线填报信息，上传所有附件（具体操作流程详见附件3），天津外国语大学招生机构代码为10068，留学项目种类请选择B类。
4、国交处留学生招生办公室向国家留学基金委报送候选人名单，国家留学基金委将按批次向我校反馈奖学金录取结果。
5、国交处将录取结果通知申请人，并根据录取结果向申请人发送录取通知书和签证申请表，申请人持录取通知书和签证申请表办理来华签证。
